There’s a team at OUTFRONT dedicated to bringing to life the best billboards in the business, to guiding small businesses toward their voice, and to advising even the biggest brands on how to make the most of our one-of-a-kind advertising medium.
That team is STUDIOS, our award-winning in-house creative agency, staffed by over 50 incredibly talented artists, designers, and creative directors from coast to coast.
We recently asked the team to tell us the stories of some of their favorite campaigns from the year. And now we’re sharing their behind-the-scenes perspectives with you!
Fridays, Dallas and Los Angeles
“We wanted to take something that everyone can relate to – that feeling of hitting the wall with your goals – and turn it into motivation. So we literally transformed walls into moments of support using messaging in places where people were already thinking about change… the campaign went on to be a finalist at the World Out of Home Awards… and it delivered results [including a] 107% overall lift in website visitation.”

“STUDIOS pitched a one-of-a-kind concept for a Los Angeles bus shelter detailing our unique creative opportunity showcasing immersive elements like dramatic lighting, custom floor graphics, interactive digital, mobile integration, and of course, a terrifying life-sized Pennywise looming over West Hollywood.”

"They were open to being a bit more controversial, but they were also slightly hesitant, so we had to walk a fine line... we had an impromptu brainstorm in the office and came up with the hairless cat design. The imagery of the cat pretty much told the entire story so this was the perfect opportunity for us to pitch to them the much-sought-after no-tagline design."
