OUTFRONT Wins Another OAAA Local Case Study Awards Grand Prize for Atlanta’s Hand & Stone

May 20, 2026

OUTFRONT has once again been honored with a grand prize at the OAAA Local Case Study Awards!

Announced last week at OAAA’s 2026 OOH Media Conference, this year’s top honors went to Kennesaw, Georgia’s Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa and to OUTFRONT Account Executive Laurie Clark, who developed the campaign.

The Local Case Study Awards are about one thing: results. For over ten years, the OAAA has honored advertisers large and small whose IRL ad campaigns drove measurable real-world impact. For Hand & Stone, that impact was over 100 new memberships in the first month, helping the Kennesaw franchise achieve the #1 ranking in the state with more than double the memberships of the second-ranked location (SOURCE: Hand & Stone)!

To accomplish that goal, we first identified high-impact assets reaching the desired audiences within a three-mile radius of the spa. Then, we tagged in STUDIOS, our award-winning in-house creative agency, to bring Hand & Stone to life utilizing assets proved by the agency, Kepler.

“What makes this OAAA win especially meaningful for me is the partnership behind it,” Laurie said. “By aligning the franchisee, agency, and brand around a shared goal—and supporting every decision with data—we unlocked measurable growth, from triple‑digit new memberships to an increase in media investment. This award reflects what’s possible when collaboration meets smart IRL strategy.”

Next, we leveraged our creative optimization capabilities, powered by machine learning, to fine-tune the ad creative for simplicity, clarity, and attention. Then we posted the ad to a roadside bulletin. And it worked.

“Our billboard campaign captured attention immediately and transformed visibility into real, measurable growth,” said Hand & Stone franchise owner Deanna Bohlender. She called it one of the best marketing programs during the holiday time period.

In addition to the grand prize, three of the five Local Media Plan Award finalists were also OUTFRONT campaigns:
